Classes Tuition & Fees

Session 1: September 14, 2026 - January 8, 2027

Tuition & Fees*

A one-time $40 registration fee per family per school-year is due at time of Session 1 registration.

(This fee will be waived if one class is paid in full at time of registration and paid by May 16, 2026.)

 

A costume deposit of $20 per class is due along with Session 1 tuition payment. (Costume balances will be due in January.)

NOTE: The Tiny Toes Intro to Dance class will not perform in the recital. No costume deposit is required for that class.

Monday Classes (13 Weeks)

30-minute class: $247

45-minute class: $273

60-minute class: $299

Tuesday Classes (15 Weeks)

30-minute class: $285

*Tuition amounts listed are for Session 1 of the 2026-2027 school year. (Session 2 tuition will be announced before winter break.)​​

Financial Calendar for School Year (Subject to Change)

Prior to classes beginning for the school year:

  • $40 annual registration fee due at time of registration to hold spot in class (Note: Registration fee may be waived with special offers from Studio.)

  • Option to pay for class in full

September (classes begin):

  • Session 1 tuition is due in full when class starts (Payment plans are available. Please inquire with Susie.)

  • $20 costume deposit for each class is due with tuition. (The balance of costume cost will be due in Jan/Feb.)

  • Prorated refunds are available for students who withdraw from a class through the fourth week of class. After the fourth week, no refunds will be issued.

December:

  • Session 2 deposits of $100 are due

January:

  • Session 2 tuition is due in full

January/February:

  • Costume fees/balances are due. (We try to keep costs as low as possible.)

  • Summer camp begins enrollment. $50 deposit is due to hold spot.

March/April:

  • For students invited to participate in the recital finale/production piece, fees are due.

  • Tickets go on sale for recital

  • Add-ons for recital go on sale (may include gifts for your dancer, video recording of recital, raffle tickets, etc.). Prices vary.

May/June:

  • Tuition due for End-of-Year Classes after recital (mandatory for Pre-Company and Company students, optional for others)

Tuition FAQs

Why do the class tuition rates vary?

Tuition varies based on class duration and number of classes per session.

Do you offer any discounts?

There are two types of discounts available for those who qualify:

  • 10% discount off 3 or more classes per Session

  • Referral Bonus: Refer a friend (who registers and stays registered) for Session 1 and get 10% off a single class for Session 2. Refer two friends and get 20% off a single class. Refer three friends and get one free class.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept three payment methods:

  • Venmo @susie-likins   (preferred)

  • Checks payable to Kids in Motion

  • Cash

When is payment due?

The one-time registration fee is due at the time of registration in order to hold your child’s spot in the class. Full tuition(s) and costume deposit(s) are due in full by the first class of the session. Please contact Susie at slikins1@comcast.net if you'd like to set up an alternative payment plan.

Can my child register mid-session?

Yes! New students are welcome to join at any time up until costumes are ordered, as long as space is available in the class. Tuition will be prorated accordingly.

Will you issue a refund if I need to withdraw my child from class?

A prorated refund will be issued to any new student who withdraws within the first 4 lessons from their start date. All refund requests must be in writing and approved by Kids in MotionNo refunds or credits will be issued after the first 4 lessons.
