Kids in Motion Classes, 2026-2027 School Year

This class will be an introduction to movement. It will explore rhythm through songs and colorful props in a perfect, low-pressure environment. The students will gain a love for music in a fun, caring atmosphere.

This class will not perform in the recital.

Required attire: Pink ballet slippers (girls), black ballet slippers (boys)

This class will be a fun way to introduce your child to ballet and tap while learning singing and acting techniques.

Required attire: Leotard, tights, pink ballet slippers (girls), black ballet slippers (boys), black tap shoes

This is a ballet, jazz, and tap combination class that will give the students a foundation and exposure to all three types of dance. The combo class helps keep the children excited, interested, and focused.

Required attire: Leotard, tights, pink ballet slippers (girls), black ballet slippers (boys), black tap shoes, and tan jazz shoes

This high energy class fuses street style dance with theatrical storytelling. The students will learn hip-hop moves while developing performance skills, musicality, and characterization to tell stories through movement.

Required attire: Comfortable clothing (no dresses, skirts, or jeans), white-soled sneakers that are not the dancer's outside shoes

With inspiration from K-Pop music, this class will combine jazz-based technique, acting, and storytelling to bring Broadway-style choreography to life. It will work on the dancer's confidence, stage presence, and performing.

This ballet-based class includes a variety of movement activities which develop listening skills and rhythm sense. It also helps increase fine and gross motor skills and body awareness.

Perfect for children who love to sing, dance, and tell stories, this energetic class is an introduction to the magical world of musical theater. It will work on creativity, building self-esteem, and fostering a love of performing.

This class will introduce basic street dance moves, rhythm, and coordination in a fun and supportive environment. This class will focus on developing motor skills and confidence through age-appropriate, upbeat music.​

Required attire: Comfortable clothing (no dresses, skirts, or jeans), white-soled sneakers that are not the dancer's outside shoes

This high-energy dance class teaches age-appropriate funk moves set to pop music.  This class will develop the dancer’s rhythm and coordination while encouraging freedom of movement. This class is perfect for young dancers of all skill levels who will benefit from the energy, creativity, and self-expression that hip-hop offers.

​This class will focus on learning upbeat K-Pop choreography inspired by the film, while learning traditional jazz choreography mixed with funk moves.
